Ultramarine blue is one of the excellent inorganic blue pigments, which is consisting of a double silicate of aluminum and sodium with sulfide and occurs in nature as a component of the semi-precious stone, lapis lazuli. It has high tinting strength, and good weather and alkali resistance.
Application: it can be used in paint, ink rubber, printing, plastics, paper products and dyes for the textile industry.
